WHO WE ARE
The School of Business, Government, and Economics at Seattle Pacific University is an AACSB-accredited institution founded to advance a deeply ethical approach to business through small, high-quality classes and professional mentoring. Certificate programs in Digital Marketing and Business Analytics are designed and taught in partnership with Insight Consulting, a company of professionals with deep experience in data science, inbound marketing, SEO, business intelligence, and ethical decision-making models.
Four courses, two tracks of study. Complete two in the same track to earn your certificate in Business Analytics or Digital Marketing. Use your new skills to hone your business, and use your professional certification to boost your career or win marketing jobs or data science jobs.
Business Analytics Certificate
Complete two courses to earn your certificate. Part 1 is "Data Methods for Decision-Making" and begins in January. Learn to query data with SQL commands, and rapidly learn business statistics and modeling techniques, data visualization, applied big data, and machine learning as it relates to ethical decision-making, and more!
Digital Marketing Certificate
Complete two courses to earn your certificate. Part 1 is "Content and Strategy" and begins in January. Learn to combine social marketing, inbound marketing, SEO tools, digital marketing strategy, qualitative data analysis, and more to create powerful, effective campaigns.
ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTORS
Certificate programs in Digital Marketing and Business Analytics are designed and taught in partnership with Insight Consulting, a company of professionals with deep experience in data science, inbound marketing, SEO, business intelligence, and ethical decision-making models.
Taylor Black is currently working in Data and Operations at the Invention Science Fund, the invention-to-startup fund of Intellectual Ventures, a Bellevue-based venture capital firm. He holds B.A.s in Philosophy and Honors Business from Gonzaga University, an M.A. in Cognitive Philosophy from Boston College, and a Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) from Boston College Law School.
Ben Olsen is Sr. Program Manager in Data and Analytics at Microsoft and CEO of Analytics Guild, a company that guides data scientists, analysts, and business intelligence professionals toward mastery in their field. He holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Seattle Pacific University and recently served as Instructor in Data Visualization at the University of Washington.
